Product description
Organic tubular membranes are high-performance precision filtration membranes, available as sintered tubular membranes and non-woven tubular membranes, in PVDF, PES, PTFE and other materials. Separation precision ranges from 10 kDa to 0.2 μm.
Membrane tube inner diameters are 6, 8 and 10 mm for non-woven tubular membranes and 8, 12.7 and 25.4 mm for sintered tubular membranes. Standard module sizes are 4-inch, 6-inch and 8-inch, with non-standard materials and sizes available on request.
Working principle: the tubular structure allows liquid to flow in laminar or micro-turbulent regimes inside the membrane tubes, enabling separation based on membrane pore size. Sintered tubular membranes support backwashing to maintain stable flux, while non-woven tubular membranes handle high-solid and high-viscosity systems. PTFE tubing allows aggressive chemical cleaning to restore flux for long-term stable operation.
